Lois Heyman Scott grew up in the Bay Area, graduated in the 1960’s from U.C. Berkeley with a B.S. and M.B.A. and was fortunate to have had the opportunity between more practical classes, to be able to study with Lawrence Hart (Activist Poets) and Thom Gunn. Retired from San Francisco City Planning in 2009, she now enjoys writing classes at OLLI at SF State and being a member of several Haiku poetry groups. Her spouse, born in 1927, was mentored by Norman Thomas and Walter Reuther. |
